After an early start, a group of Priory School, Lewes students flew to Malaga in Spain for a 5 day visit to Jaén in southern Spain. We headed straight off to Malaga beach for a picnic and some fun and games followed by a walking tour of the city and a very welcome and delicious meal at a Spanish restaurant before our drive to Jaén and a good night’s sleep at our hotel.
In the morning, the group excitedly made their way to Jabalcuz High School for a morning of bilingual activities before a Scavenger Hunt later in the day with their new Spanish friends.
On Wednesday we visited Granada and after a short tour of the fabulous Alhambra Palace, visited Granada Science Park and enjoyed a pizza picnic in the beautiful weather in the park.
On Thursday and a visit to the Castillo de Santa Catalina, we enjoyed a lovely countryside walk around the beautiful city of Jaén before a great fun evening disco with our Spanish friends.
After a fond farewell to their Spanish friends, the group were soon enjoying a great time at the Aquamijas Water Park before the flight back home to a fond welcome home from our families.
